New Report Released: In Our Own Words: Immigrants Experiences in the Northwest
“In Our Own Words” presents the testimonies of 230 immigrants from around the world living in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. As the Senate prepares to debate immigration reform, this report provides a timely look at the real lives of immigrants and shows how the immigration system affects immigrants’ efforts to live, work, and integrate into communities in the Northwest.

Accountability Campaign lauched in Eugene Register Guard
On February 1, The Register Guard newspaper in Eugene, Oregon ran an Op-Ed, "Harsh Immigration Bill Won't Work" by University of Oregon Professor Lynn Stephen and Lane County CAUSA Coordinator Guadalupe Quinn, calling on Peter Defazio to reject enforcement-only proposals such as the Sensenbrenner bill - which he voted in favor of - and support Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

Walk for Truth, Justice and Community a Complete Success
From June 12-18th, over 120 people from PCUN, CAUSA, Rural Organizing Project, and other groups marched from Salem to Portland to demand economic justice and immigrant rights, protection of civil liberties and civil rights, and the funding of human needs not global war.

PCUN Celebrates 20th Anniversary
PCUN organized celebrations with supporters, September 13 in Eugene and September 14 in Portland, marking our 20th anniversary year and commemorating the 10th anniversary of the death of PCUN co-founder Cipriano Ferrel. At the events, we announced a new project to research, write and publish a biography of Cipriano.

National Lawyers Guild Honors PCUN and PCUN Leader
